Julie Lewis has walked many miles in her shoes! A 15-year veteran of the footwear industry, she is the founder of two socially responsible companies, Deja Show and Deep E Co., later sold to other footwear entities. She has raised over $13 million in venture capital and developed two revolutionary textiles made using recycled materials. She co-developed a lasting board material still used by the footwear industry.

Appointed to Governor's Council for recycled product development, Ms. Lewis is a past recipient of an American Marketing Award, a United Nations Sustainability Award and a National Recycling Coalition Award.
