Junk to Funk Fashion Show

'Junk to Funk Recycled Fashion Show Contest' is an annual event featuring selected pieces of wearable art based on the creative use of "trash".  Artists compete each year on the runway for cash prizes based on the percentage of recycled material, creativity, and craftsmanship. 

The show was created to showcase alternative uses of waste, through art and fashion that might otherwise end up in landfills. The event encourages recycling, creative reuse, and sustainable fashion solutions in an eclectic, inspiring, and humorous production.
